Children’s Ministry Director
My Job at ChristLife: I’m the mail carrier of God’s Love Letter to the kiddos of our church. But I’m NOT alone! I serve with and oversee over 45 precious and gifted volunteers who take turns pouring themselves into loving and discipling our little ones through hands-on Bible curricula and activities each Sunday and beyond.
My Life and Faith Story: I grew up in a loving, Christian home and can call myself a native Coloradoan. I’m hard-working and fiercely independent, which can be great for worldly success, but I have often struggled with pride, disappointment, insecurity and bitterness. So, God has used a plethora of opportunities from high school through today to teach me why I need to depend solely on Him. These life lessons (some harder than others) have shown that my true identity lies not in what I can do for Him, but in all that He’s done for me.
I have a Behavioral Science degree and elementary teaching licensure from Metro State University, Denver and a Master’s of Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado Christian University. I’ve been married to my best friend, Rick, since 2004 and God’s given us three amazing children, two sugar gliders and one bearded dragon.
Bits and Pieces: I play the Djembe, sing, collect Russian nesting dolls and paint when I find a spare moment.
What I like about ChristLife: It’s a community of genuine folks pursuing genuine relationships with their Creator and each other through the grace and love of Jesus.
